My career began three decades ago in Virginia, Minnesota in 1987. Originally from St. Paul, MN, I went to Alexander Ramsey High School and college at Bemidji State University. After working with a number of national investment firms my family decided to leave St. Paul, MN and move to Fountain Hills, Arizona, in 1997.
In 2001 I earned the Personal Financial Planning Certificate through Metropolitan State University of Denver. In 2003 I earned the Registered Financial Consultant designation (RFC ) through the IARFC (International Association of Registered Financial Consultants).
In 2006 I received the Chairperson’s Award from the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce for my commitment and contributions to the Fountain Hills business community. In 2009 I was named Co-Business Person of the year by the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce for my commitment to my business as well as several non-profit organizations.
Since 2006 I have underwritten over 26 scholarships to graduating Fountain Hills High School seniors through the Golden Eagle Foundation.
Since 1987 I have been with my clients through all of the market corrections, recessions and most recently the financial crisis in 2008/2009. Having an experienced professional can help you avoid making emotional mistakes and a comfort when things in life get a bit confusing.
